Negative electricity prices are a bad thing though. It means the grid isn’t flexible enough to match supply and demand and can’t shed power generation fast enough. Oversupply increases the power frequency(thus voltage) which can be damaging to electronics and cause breakers to trip. Electricity prices being 0 is one thing but when it goes negative that indicates a problem.

But also as long as you’re relying on the market to invest in power generation you do want to structure the market to make that profitable.

The rotating to an earlier shift is even more insane. Maybe I’m wrong but I imagine almost everyone finds it easier to push through and stay up later than try to go to sleep 7 hours early.

If I vote(solid blue here so not much practical point) I’m doing a write in for president and any pro-israel candidates down ballot. I would not be upset by Biden losing to trump by the margin of votes for “stop the genocide” in swing states. Preferably with a blue congress but whatever it takes to drive the point home for dems that they cannot cross this line and still have electoral viability.

But don’t forget to let centrist dems know you’ll keep voting for them even if they support a genocide.
