Circuit City was great until it wasn’t.
Sucks.

That’s a big number. What’s the use case? Just cause?
Hey there
My neighbor does this and I hate them. I have peanut shells all over my property. I can’t walk barefoot because there’s so fucking many shells.
They’re in my drains. They’re in my flower and veggie beds. Birds pick them up and take them to my roof and try to crack them at 6am and wake us up.
I HATE HATE HATE my peanut throwing neighbors.
Cranberry sauce is better with jalapeño. Miles better.
I’m just sayin
I got a 15 pro this year. This is my first apple phone.
I agree with your Android “struggle” list completely and would add that every single model I ever owned (especially the Google phones) had some unbelievable hardware issue that made using the phone a maddening experience. From calling that wouldn’t work at all to black screen on wakeup that wouldn’t go away, every time I bought a new phone it felt like the timer had begun on finding what new exciting awful hardware bug was going to present itself and whether Google would warranty replace it.
I agree with most of your iphone revelation comments. Face ID is miles better than anything I ever experienced on Android. Look and feel is definitely better. The audio switching is as easy as it gets. Carplay is… fine. I don’t like the work flow better and some of the decisions are weird when moving from app to app within apps, but I’m used to them now and don’t see them as often.
What I disagree about:
What I like about apple that you didn’t mention:

I bought for my kids on the 3 year conversion deal. It’s great for them. They can try all sorts of different games and have played stuff they never would have otherwise. Since I generally refuse to buy on release day or preorder, them being able to play newly released games with their friends has been pretty cool too.
I ain’t paying $15/month/per kid tho. That’s crazy talk.
People that post stuff like that aren’t looking for redemption or a relationship revival. It’s performative bullshit so they can get 100 emojis from other loser boomers who over share on Facebook.
“My family has more family now. I’d like to find a way to bridge the gap and see if we can’t start something small that grows someday. It broke and I wish it wasn’t.”
That’s what it actually looks like.
Nextcloud borked my Unraid server. Took me forever to find the source of constant lockups. Apart from that, the Nextcloud container took up more of my time than any other part of my server, including the OS.
This was a couple years ago. Maybe things have changed.
My Unraid server is a dream otherwise. Rock solid and 30 containers running smoothly for years and years.
Just another data point.
I used Proxmox for a long time before Unraid, but that’s when getting deep into it was a hobby. Now I just want it to work.
