In my country, people who fasten the seatbelt are aliens. You have to explain yourself why you are fastening the seatbelt.
Like mastondon.world admin said, you can always block the threads.net at user level.
The instance itself will wait and see.
We won’t pre-emptively defederate from Threads. Users can themselves decide to block threads. (If we were to defederate, users can’t anymore decide to un-block themselves.)
We will keep a close eye on all developments with Threads joining the Fediverse, and when we see trouble, we might reconsider this statement.
Edit: mastodon.world not mastodon.social
“you-know-which-site” has already archived the page. I love that site.
Which UI you are using? Web or app?
I use voyager app and it has a feature “copy text”. When used, the title and body are selectable.
Not an advice.
I once in a situation like yours. I liked both of my colleagues, one complained about the other. Long story short they got married (and still happily married). Lesson learnt, don’t pay much attention to the complaints.
Not familiar with the discourses except he/him and from river to the sea.

It seems the overlay does not disappear. The blurred behind the overlay was changing so I think the feed is working.
Is it a installable PWA?
When I tried it stucked at signing in. I logged in first on Firefox and edge on Android and then install with both. Both stucked.
I use Tab Counter Plus and put the number at the top of the sidebery sidebar.
Firefox and Sidebery let me do that.
Before that I have tabs opened in 3 or 4 windows each with 20 or 30 opened.
It depends on what you are doing.
I do programming and I need access to project management sites, communication sites, documetations (language and library) and tools sites opened.
When I am researching the topics I am not very familiar I usually read 4 or 5 sources. So in the middle of developing a feature I have at least tens of tabs.
When it combined with home lab servers, entainments, side readings and related readings I usually tends to end up with hundreds.

Most are unloaded. Using Firefox and sidebery on Linux with 32GB of RAM.
The pricing depends on the DC location (and other obvious factor). The one I have is in New Jersey (have to confirm) and 3.5 USD per month.
I have a 5 USD per month VPS on Vultr.com
You mean paws, right? Right??
The article is dated in 2014 and stated that Daniel Houghton had been running it for 1 year.
So I think he did fine.
