I just learned about Arctic, but it’s a really nice iOS client for Lemmy! Thanks!
One thing I immediately missed is to vote a post or a comment by tapping on the small arrows indicating the amount of up- and downvotes. Would love to see this feature.

Glad you’re enjoying Arctic! For comments, this is already a feature, however it does not work very well at the moment due to how small the button and are. It’s very difficult to tap them.

It’s on my todo list to fix this, and I’ll be doing that soon. I have some layout issues to fix in this area and I’ll fix the tappable area while I’m at it.

I already noticed that it is possible for comments, but I were only able to tap the downvote button. 😁
It’s just that I am so used to vote that way.

Btw, is it welcome to open issues with bugs and features on GutHub, or do you prefer it here in the community?

Yeah, I’m trying to make sure I include all the familiar features that everyone’s used to using. I’ll have this fixed in the next 2 releases. The upcoming release may not have a fix for this, as it’s mainly focused on push notification support.

I just noticed that you submitted some issues on GitHub. I hadn’t been checking it daily since no one had been using it until now. As for submitting issues, it’s dealers choice. GitHub is easier for me to track, however, it’s easier to get community feedback here. So really I don’t have a preference.

Likely what I’ll start doing is submitting issues myself for whatever is reported on Lemmy, and just link the thread in the GitHub issue.
