Alabama Supreme Court rules 8-1 that all un-implanted embryos are legal children. Meaning that every fertilized egg in an invitro-fertilization procedure has standing as a born human baby.This essentially bans fertility clinics.
Further, this phrase: “The 8-1 ruling applies The Wrongful Death of a Child Act to all unborn children, regardless of their location.” Suggesting lawmakers there intend to prosecute Alabama residents for procedures done over state lines, outside AL jurisdiction, as they are already threatening to do with abortion care.
I should also note, this threatens to criminalize certain contraceptives, such as IUDs, hormonal birth control, and Plan B medications. Because all of them may expel a fertilized egg.
Can I claim them as dependents on my taxes?
Next up on the docket - every sperm is sacred. My balls are a housing development and any woman who causes me to ejaculate better have accommodations for all 400 million of them per ejaculation.
One of the reasons religious people have had a problem with IVF is that the man must ejaculate into a tube, this breaking G*d’s law.

I think underneath it all is a desire for nonconsensual sexual domination. And all the religious and political ideology nonsense really just exists to obscure this underlying motive.

Thank you for putting general sex related legislative news here, even though it’s kinda off topic. Hate and sex negativity harms us all. I will never understand the mindset that thinks guns are ok but consensual sex isn’t. That killing people gets a movie a PG rating but sex an X. Twisted.
