Those Music updates were a long time coming!
Really wondering when this journal app is coming
That’s a good point. I almost forgot about the new Journal app.
It’ll be shipped via the App Store, so not in tandem with an OS update.
I hope it’s not being quietly canceled.
Me too, that was the biggest thing I have been waiting for. Well that and some homekit things. I have been trying to get more info about the journal app but nothing more that was in the presentation.
Apes together stronk. Wait for 17.1.1
But the iOS 17 user guide still has not been released. Maybe it will be in time for 18?
I was really excited about Favorites in the Music app… until I learned it’s just replacing “Loved.”
I thought they’d have a third type of system:
Favorites / Suggest More (Love) / Suggest Less
It’s sort of like that now, but it’s:
Favorites (Loved) / Suggest More (Added to Library) / Suggest Less
Oh well!
Love and favorites would be super redundant and confusing for the average user IMO.
That’s why I never explicitly said it should have both.
I updated because of the supposed fix for the keyboard lag.
