As usual, concern trolling about fire response and the conservative firefighters themselves standing in the way of making places for people.
That’s a better idea than leaving it as is. The road is a tourist attraction first and a road second. It is also well served by the LA Metro, so losing vehicular capacity should hopefully push people onto the Red Line.
Not to mention the road is regularly closed off to street traffic for movie premieres and events. I was hoping they’d go even further and turn this into a pedestrian only area.
