According to this article his stomach and intestines had unusual thick lining and strong gastric acids, so maybe they were not so bad.
When I was younger and attended university, I spent the time on the train reading. And that’s what brought me back to reading books.
Those are Finland (other more northern one) and Hungary, whose languages belong to the Finno-Ugric family
A man has been arrested in Kern County, California, for allegedly removing human remains, a leg, from a location other than a cemetery.
You’re telling me that removing it from a cemetery would have been ok?
Putting it onto a walkable trail it’s not the best option. Leave it on some parking spots, there are plenty of those as OP said.
His problem it’s not the snow itself, but the fact that the snow has been moved onto a walkable trail to clear some parking spots.
I’m not sure that count as an appearance, though
I get why he is lister as screenwriter for various works, but as an actor I think that’s totally wrong.
Focus’ Gplay link is wrong, it should be https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=allen.town.focus.mastodon
Maybe is missing a second part, like “Jesus is watching you” or maybe “Patrick is watching you and he doesn’t like what he sees”.
This morning my colleague was sent to a school she didn’t know, so she used GMaps to get the directions. She parked her car, but wasn’t able to find the school. She called me and we found out that GMaps sent her almost 1km away from her destination. I gave her the correct address and she was able to find the place, but she was late for work (no big deal anyway). After further inspection, I found out that the school was mapped as an insurance office. I suspect it’s a case of vandalism, but who knows.
Thanks, it works perfectly
I really like this interface, but I can’t find a way to save posts or comments on mobile
I live in a small European town (~17000 persons) and if I walk 13 minutes I get to the other side of the town.
Ok, I think that’s because the knob is the whole black part, right? I thought that the indicator (the segmented part) was fixed and only the center part of the knob could be moved. But, if you have to move everything yes, it’s the other way round: clockwise to get warm, anti-clockwise to get burnt bread.
The wider the segment, the more cooked/burnt the bread gets. So, for black bread clockwise, for warm bread anti-clockwise.
As an European I’ve never seen a diverging diamond (though I’ve been in the US a few times) and boy they look scary to drive across. I know you just have to drive straight, but that criss-cross interchange looks scary.
Also: how big is that parking lot? It reminds me of those Simpson’s gags were the family have to park so far away they can’t even see the location they came to visit.
There’s here too! !dontdeadopeninside@lemmy.ohaa.xyz
So you’re saying it yourself: it’s not like merging. Moreover, at T-intersections there might be some crosswalk, so it’s not really true that you yield for one.
I’d like to see a map where the Netherlands are not included. We in Europe are not (always) car-centric but the public transport is awful in some places.
