Of course I’m referring to ethnicities, lifestyles (this is a coverall, please don’t hate on me), genders, sexualities, and culture. Let’s try to avoid offensive language and phrasing. For the sake of friendly banter, just be as friendly you can be and use neutral phrases as much as you can muster. And I mean comedy. I prefer situational comedy or comedy stories. Like there’s people that can just word a story right where it’s informative and hilarious. And why?

To say any one particular group, be it ethnicity, race, sexuality or otherwise is funnier than the rest, is still a broad stroke generalization. Just because you’re saying something positive instead of negative doesn’t make it any less problematic. It’d be like if I said all black people are really hip and trendy. That wouldn’t be okay. People are individuals.
