The reason why I’m asking this question is because I do love reading yuri hentai doujinshi everyday and I personally do not care about what two consenting adults are doing in the privacy of their own home.
I just do not want to support the lgbt community because I think those people are weirdos. But I don’t think that what they’re doing is morally wrong. Similar to incest. I think a brother and a sister that are both consenting adults being in an incestuous relationship with eachother is not morally wrong as long as they do not have a child together. But I still think that they’re weirdos for doing that.
I think anyone that is parading on the streets wearing skimpy outfits and celebrating and their sexual orientation are weirdos.
But I don’t think gay men or lesbian women are weirdos. I think that gay men and lesbian women should have the right to get married.
But the lgbt community having a pride parade about their sexual orientation is just really weird in my opinion. Because it doesn’t matter if your straight, bisexual, gay or lesbian if you make your entire sexual orientation your personality then yeah you are a weirdo in my opinion.
without acceptance, there can’t be equality
without a conversation, there can’t be acceptance
without awareness, there can’t be a conversation
without activists, there can’t be awareness
right now, there is a severe lack of acceptance, and the conversation is toxic.
unfortunately this is a necessity, if it wasn’t needed, it wouldn’t be done.
So I guess Brazilians are weirdos because they parade in carnaval dancing around and in skimpy outfits :)
I think from the comments you have written that you need to reevaluate the meaning of what support of the lgbtq community means. Support is supporting their right to have the private life and sexual orientation they have without being punished for it. I think you are already at that point. You support that community.
Maybe you don’t agree with the parades and find them excessive and weird, but those parades are there as a response to those that don’t support them and would prefer to hide them (or worse). And I’m sure those parades have given a bunch of people the courage to admit and accept their own sexuality as they saw there was nothing wrong with it.
In other words, the support they need has nothing to do with the parades, you can be supportive and disagree on the parades, but at the end of the day, the best you can do is ignore the parades.
