They elected Trump twice, aren’t doing enough to stop him, amongst other things. But of course they say “NoT aLl oF Us SuPpOrT ____” as if that would absolve them of any sort of guilt.
I’m reading this as you looking to rationalize hate because you’re hating for the “right reasons.” But you should understand that the other side also thinks they’re hating for the right reasons, and that the hate itself is really the issue.
absorb them of any sort of guilt.
absolve*. And hating all Americans irrationally makes you just as bad as the Americans who voted for irrational hatred.
At least we spell “favour” and “neighbour” correctly.
Not all of them do. What do you want? Rationalization of a wish to generalize over a huge geographical region?
I sympathize with you feeling that way, but of course it’s irrational.
I just want Americans to go extinct. They’re no different than N@Zs at this point. I don’t know when or how it’ll be accomplished with the current resources available, but if it isn’t they’ll drive the rest of humanity to extinction first.
Americans aren’t a homogenous group. In fact I would say we are probably one of the most diverse groups of people in the world. It’s kinda our strong suit.
To answer your question more directly: yes. It is irrational to hate and despise every American at this point.
The line of thinking you’re showing at the end there is very dangerous. I would advise that you take a step back and think about why it could be problematic to apply that sort of logic.
This aint an America issue… this is a bootlicker culture across all societies issue.
Adult men and women who seek strong daddy to save them from xxxx and restore former glory of once proud people.
Why has each successive generation fallen for this trap?
Why did Socrates drink the hemlock?
“Not all societies”
Yes, because any American you meet is very unlikely to be a supporter of what’s going on. Most people’s votes don’t really seem to matter in the electoral college system, and our legislative branch hasn’t… Tried… In several decades. Which is to say, his majority vote came from a minority of the population.
That, and the minority that voted for him are so goddamn afraid of the world and everything in it that they don’t leave their communities for anything.
