It’s all about intended audience. When it’s in English it’s toned down and meant for the rest of the world, when it’s in Hebrew it’s meant for Israelis and tends to be more mask off.

One day — if there is any justice left in this world — Israel will be swept into the dustbin of history, just like e.g. the Third Reich, Rhodesia and apartheid South Africa before it

Lol, imagine if a high ranking PA official (not even Hamas) were to say something like this. The UN Security Council would be passing a resolution condemning him.

Why are Democrats so obsessed with gaslighting people into Genocide Joe not doing the same stuff?

Israel killed American World Food Kitchen employees to starve Palestinians and got away with it under Genocide Joe.

The point is that this same thing was going to happen regardless, but now we have Israel being shit AND everything else that has come along with a Trump admin.

Why did it have to fucking happen regardless though?

I mean I’m fucking tired of democrat supporting Americans being so fucking fatalistic about Biden policies.

It did not have to fucking happen. Biden could have pulled the plug from Israel’s war before the us election cycle started. But he didn’t. Why are you so fucking fatalistic that oh there is no way this could not have happened? Or to rephrase that, if you are so fatalistic about that, well you’ve already given up on democracy, so why do you complain about Maga fascism anyway?

I wasn’t sold it it had to be that way no matter who was at the desk. I’ve bitched about Israel long before this round came up. Every time they would get a few old rockets landing a field somewhere it’s used as an excuse to go and level everything and everyone in reach, which is bullshit.

HOWEVER, when it comes to a place of accept the bullshit as is, and knowing that there is NO chance a 3rd party is going to get anywhere given the current system, or make it several orders worse by letting in someone who has said outright ‘let them finish the job’, along with all the other insanity coming from him daily the right choice is clear as can be.

Did I mention the presidential election? I’m harping on the push back against calling your previous president “genocide Joe”. You had a terrible choice to make between a Maga radical fascist and an imperialist genocide enabler. You personally made that terrible choice in a way that I would probably also go if I were American. But for goodness sake, the fact that the alternative was… Trump doesn’t absolve in the least Biden from the genocide he enabled.

What I push back on was that there was/are a sizable part of society that deemed disengagement an appropriate response. With the cultish temperament of the maga crowd they are going to show up and support their prophet regardless. This means that everyone who decides they can’t vote ‘for’ genocide and blame the existing admin, means that it’s that much less opposing a second person at the helm who would make things far worse.

It’s pretty well the classic trolly problem. In this case though the passive non-response harms more people, while the active intervention harms fewer. People want to argue that by taking an action they aided in the harm of those fewer people, but wash their hands of the worse outcome because they kept their hands off.

I get that. You can just as well focus your blame game on the Democratic party and demand reform on their end. My impression is that that’s a more productive way of going forward, because reforming the attitudes of the electorate is a much harder proposition.

Ps. I’m not downvoting you btw.

If only more people pressured Democrats to change their position instead of caving and falling in line. Then they would at least have a moral high ground to stand on if they lost.
