It’s just an angle thing, it kinda looks like the paws are in the wrong spot but it’s cuz of the angle of the mirror. I just think it’s “luck” that it’s cut off so the reflection looks like the hands are on the mirror instead of the sink.
Maybe you’re right, idk. It’s still short-circuiting my brain… Given the position of the left paw, and that I can see part of the fingers in the ‘reflection’, I think the faucet handle should be visible in the mirror as well. The angle of the head doesn’t match, nor do the position of the left ear…

There are other details that are weird at least. The razor, I haven’t used a razor since I was a teenager but if you had that little tray there, would you put it down like that? What’s that bar thingy in front of the shower curtain? Are those ‘supports’ (idk what else they could be) hanging from the curtain itself?
