Just FYI for any dog owners, young dog on left appears to be legit stressed out here and maybe should be comforted or removed from that situation before something goes wrong.

Recognizable cues include side eye with prominent sclera, pulled-back ears, avoidance posture with minimal head rotation and muzzle tension at mouth corners. Those not apparent here include tail-tucking, lip-licking, and yawning. Your dog broadcasts its internal state with cues like these, so it helps to know them.

Edit: and sorry for being a buzzkill, it’s a funny photo

Not a buzzkill. You’re engaged and that is the point. It is not my dog and not my picture. I’m just fishing the internet for fresh stuff for all of us to enjoy and engage with socially my friend. Don’t be embarrassed or ashamed of being a good person that cares. You did not make it judgemental about me personally, and that is all that really matters to me. I posted it because I care about you stranger. The fact that you care too is a beautiful thing. Thanks for being a good digital neighbor, friend.

Thank you for your nice reply!

Yes, just felt obligated to point it out because many dogs are abandoned for random incidents that aren’t so random, including my first dog.
