Yeah and I thrive below freezing lol. My mood improves, I have more energy, I get very excited and active, bonus points if it has been overcast for months I love that shit. Honestly I think I have SAD the opposite direction of most people

I’ve spent years trying to figure out how to acclimate it never works, I really wish it would I just don’t think I’m built like that. My solution has been to move to colder places which is having mixed results with the planet heating faster than I can move
Depends on the person and what they were acclimated to as the norm in an area. I start to get increasingly disfunctional starting at about 75f, once it gets to 80f it is difficult for me to focus on tasks that aren’t directly related to cooling myself down, and 85f+ my day is a wash
They only kinda work but more importantly they need mass adoption to actually poison training data. Most people aren’t going to add another step to their posts so probably the only way to mass adopt it is to have platforms automatically poison uploaded images. I wonder if reposts on a platform like that would start to have noticable artifacts in the images like jpeg but different
Little known fact that modern pipes can summon water out of nothing
Is it not normal to have a period of complete motionlessness in the shower?
Lucy glo apples are one of the only apples I’ll eat. So good, they’re visually fun, and at least the stand I get them from they’re always very crisp
It’s like MOO2 in that way, the difinitive 4x space game. I had a bit of fun with Stellaris but most the mechanics feel complex for complex sake, while MOO2 has fewer and simpler mechanics but somehow more depth
Dagothwave too?
Unironically would love to wear these. I adore snails
I swear I’d claw them to death if they tried. I’m early in recovery from major surgery, today I walked to an ice cream place to get a shake. It was like 4 blocks, took everything I had in me. I’m dragging this milkshake with me to my grave that long strawed bastard can go ahead and test which of us is crazier right now
No I’m serious I don’t know what you were going on about but it seemed like a lot of stuff in there. You’re being wildly specific and tying together things in a way that I legitimately don’t understand what you’re saying and also you’re just wrong in my case lol
I decided to get sober because I don’t like how addiction feels like a loss of autonomy and I physically felt like shit all the time. I was able to get sober because I put a lot of work into surrounding myself with supportive people
Jesse, what the fuck are you talking about?
Compulsion to exert power over people near you
In my experience (sober for two years, and a lot of talks with people in various stages of alcoholism to help with my own), while this maybe has some truth to it in lucky circumstances, the kind of people willing to have a buzz in that situation aren’t the kind who stop at just a buzz
This is one of the most wholesome things I’ve heard, brings joy to my heart. People can bring so much joy to each other’s lives when they’re open to it
As if tech isn’t enough of a hyper specialized mess already now we’re throwing biologists into the mix. “Sorry we need to wait for the registered nurse to fix your machine I’m not authorized to administer meds through the CPU’s IV”
The original XCOM has some of the best pixel art in any game, imo. Original resolution: 320x200. Somehow it is still visually detailed and clear. It has one of my favorite things in a game ever where the tiles you see are partially obscured by tiles you can’t. Specifically, the tiles you can’t see aren’t fully blocked so silhouettes can still be visible. If you’re good you can use it to ID aliens lurking in the shadows and sometimes it’s literally like 3 pixels of difference for you to pick up on it
Hottest I’ve ever been in is 114f iirc in a dry heat. It was brutal like “you can feel moisture evaporating out of your eyes”, I felt like just sitting around I couldn’t drink water as fast as I was losing it. 125 is bonkers
Body hair, I have effectively none barely even leg hair. My head hair does grow in very thick though and this season I’m experimenting with shaved sides see how much it helps
