And it’s impossible to make the data truly secure. If a bag actor gets in, GG everything.

Some of us are tired of watching gangs (ACAB), Nazis (Musk, Republicans), and other billionaires kill people or use their power to ruin people’s lives for personal gain. I don’t just say ACAB to be edgy or insulting. I truly mean it with the police force in its current state. Switching names like calling Musk, Mush is a bit too juvenile for me and is just there to be insulting. Sometimes someone will strike gold and I’ll chuckle, but for the most part I think it draws from any actual point trying to be made. The more often something like ACAB is thrown out, the more people are going to see it, and it will effect some people, so it’s not just wasted comments.
I will often pause educational videos to study something on screen. Putting ads over that ruins the experience.
I have YT premium mainly for YT music, but I do consume a lot (read: too much) YT content. I split the family plan with 4 other members outside of my wife and I, so it’s like $3 per month for just me. I’m not logged in on my work computer, and the amount of ads is insanely intrusive and a off putting. I honestly think that if I didn’t have a premium sub, I’d almost never use the platform because it’s so bad.
Holy whataboutism Batman.
I’m looking trying a new distro on my junker laptop. I’m kde and Arch right now. Do you have any recommendations for where I should test the waters? I don’t have any intentions with this machine other than testing distros and couch surfing.
Ah yes, another cultured user. Everyone should know about and subscribe to Dropout.tv for the content and to support a solidly ethical company. Sam is a saint.
I jumped right in the deep end with Arch. I’ve been a sys admin for about a decade and in IT for another 5 years, so I’m good with computers, but more importantly, I’m good at searching for and finding solutions to my problems. It was a bit rocky for the first setup, but been mostly smooth sailing since Jan or Feb. I reformatted to change to btrfs and snapper after the first month or two.
I still don’t know a lot about how Linux works or where any of the config files are, but I’m learning. I’m all on the bandwagon.
I went cold turkey to Linux this past December. Best choice I’ve ever made. I am still stuck on Windows for work and I assist friends and family with their stuff, but otherwise I’m happily out of the system.
Everything about it is so bad. It’s like someone woke up one day and thought, what is the legally worst piece of software I can make and force in people?
Any company worth anything will keep recall disabled. Obviously, with Microsoft, it will get “accidentally” activated in an update, so admins will have to play whack a mole, but nobody should enable that malware when it’s released.
Regardless, what’s this have to do with the article posted? These action go directly against the point I think you’re trying to make.
So Canada fucked up them remedied the situation. What’s this have to do with the post?
Size depending, an ultrasonic cleaner and alcohol will do the trick. That’s how I clean my glass pipes from resin and debris, and it always comes out spotless with no manual cleaning effort.
Over the last 4 days, I went from not thinking about this song for a long time, to learning it on guitar and bass, to finding out the bassist is leaving Kansas, then crossing this meme. The universe oddly aligns in the weirdest ways sometimes.
I also learned that it’s actually named, “Carry on Wayward Son”. There’s no my in the title, just the lyrics. Never knew that one.
You’re not wrong. It’s a bullshit point that has no merit. US could have nothing to do with Israel, and that would have no bearing on Iran sending missiles to Russia.
Russia is getting missiles from Iran, because they need them and Iran is supplying them, it’s as simple as that.
The false equivalence in the article is frustrating. We don’t allow people to drink and drive, but we do allow people to drink and ride. Contextually, I think the article is referring to drunk passengers being unruly, not pilots. If they are actually talking about pilots then it should be a 0 drink limit before a flight. Just punish the disorderly drunks, and let the rest of the adults, adult.
Agree, but it’s not on Ryanair to police that and should be at the discretion of the bar like it is everywhere else. If a bar overserves someone, fine them. If someone is unruly boarding or on a plane, either prevent them from boarding or ban them going forward and make the punishment hurt. There are plenty of people capable of drinking a handful of alcoholic beverages and functioning in public.
I think yours is the first comment I’ve read that has Proton hesitancy. I’m curious what your reservations are.
Excessive emojis make reading difficult. It’s just as bad as posts. That. Are. Written. Like. This. My internal voice pauses for ever period, likewise, I have to interpret every inline emoji. It’s mentally tiring, and while forums like this aren’t formal, when I see abused emoji use, I instinctively write off a comment or post as juvenile and low quality. I’m more inclined to skip reading it entirely because of the extra effort required and my pre judgement of its contents.
Tagging an emoji to the end or light use to help convey emotions is fine and intuitive. I personally like them for quick response and like you, to add a little more context to text where the “voice” may be missed.
I had this exact discussion within the last year. The first egg was a chicken egg. Every subsequent egg was a chicken’s egg.
