Yeah wearing scrubs was traditionally meant as clothing you could easily get rid of if you got bodily fluids on yourself. They are cheap, thin material, and originally had colors meant to make it easy to identify blood if they became contaminated (although that part is not really adhered to in my experience). They are not, and never were, intended for sterility. Sterile clothing is donned and doffed within the OR or relevant treatment room. If scrubs are contaminated or used for PPE purposes they must be left at the facility and the employer is responsible for washing or disposal (by US regulations). However many people in medical facilities wear them as a uniform instead, including administrators, general caretakers, and even custodial services depending on the location. The important thing is the intent, and by most modern standards PPE which would get contaminated is worn over the scrubs.

Hell I went to the eye doctor the other day and everyone in that place was in scrubs. I dunno who would be squirting eye fluid all over them so I assume they all arrived and leave in those scrubs.

Much like when I hear about Call of duty I get a little surprised every time I hear this series is being made still. Not because it’s bad or anything, I really dont know, its just because the series got old and repetitive to me like a decade ago. How do people just keep eating the same regurgitated stuff over and over and still love it so much??

Fairphones look good if I can get one - I wonder if there’s a way to get the new one shipped to the US. I think my only hang up there is the lack of a wireless charger. I can get past that but I have a number of wireless chargers in my house and cars that I do enjoy. Weird that it doesn’t have it, and weird to realize it’s become an important feature for me.

The more I see these posts the more I think this was the strategy. They figured it doesn’t matter how dumb or ugly it is, in fact, that’s a good thing because it draws so much attention. I don’t see many on the road but man it sure is fucking noticeable when I do.

Alright so if I was the leader of a country and looking at my enemy country’s election I would consider saying I support someone who I don’t want to be in office so that people vote for the person I do like. But then again maybe I would know that people would know that so I would choose to support the opposite person instead. People keep paying for it so why put more effort into it? When they do it doesn’t seem to pay off. The last game I bought from a big publisher was Hi Fi Rush. It was fantastic, original, clearly had more thought and effort out into it than the average AAA game, and look what happened to them. Hopefully their transition to a new owner turns out to be a positive one, but considering the industry trends I’m not holding my breath on that one.

This is why I do the patient gamers thing. I almost always wait for sales, bundles, etc. Most of my games come in at a deep discount, and the only ones I grab at a slight discount are because it’s got stellar reviews, had enough time to see how the updates, MTX bullshit, or servers played out, and is clearly still interesting enough to be worth both my money and time.

Isthereanydeal.com is my best friend for this. Gog.com is also great. Humblebundle.com is still occasionally worth looking at.
