Wouldn’t be an issue since a president can’t do shit here, it’s a representative role. The most power goes to a coalition government since one party has never ever had enough votes to govern on their own and it’s unlikely that can even happen. The government is always made up of a ton of people from different parties.

We also had a party that tried to import American politics and they got into power along with a national and centrist party but they basically were too incompetent to do anything and the other coalition members just left which caused a new government to form without them. They wanted to prevent same sex marriage to even be a possibility and they failed at it even though Estonia isn’t the most LGBT friendly place.

Now even if that party were competent and were in power solo they still couldn’t do much with national IDs since that system is controlled by many different government entities and our riigikogu does not control those, they could try to pass some laws but a lot of major changes would need a referendum which would also fail and then trigger an election.

Yea, obviously, that’s the case for most people. A lot of people for who a chromebook would be enough would not be effected, yea but for example software that isn’t getting new updates and like all gaming would just not work on other architectures currently.

I don’t use apple’s stuff but alternatives to X86 could be the future. The one thing they need is compatibility with X86 software otherwise mass adoption is heavily crippled. It doesn’t matter as much for Apple’s stuff since their whole ecosystem is under strict control but for general purpose consumer hardware that compatibility is required first.

Personally I’d prefer if games used more stylized graphics like pixel art or hand drawn stuff. That’s not worse in graphical quality but better imho while not needing a supercomputer to run. Spiritfarer is still one of the prettiest games I have played and it runs on the switch.

Going with stylized graphics instead of trying to do photorealism also makes the game age way more gracefully. Bastion for example still looks amazing while there’s a reason Oblivion npcs are a meme.

My country has the highest amount of bear per person but we only have brown bears and most people have encountered a bear in the forest, it’s not as scary as the idea of getting roofied and rapes. Also getting attacked by a bear is more unlikely even here than getting roofied and raped. You don’t have to worried about a bear attack while you do need to guard your drink.
