That’s true, I only recently got a computer that could handle switch emulation but I know it’s been around for a long time. It’s probably a lot easier than dealing updates on a modded switch.

This is what I did. I didn’t even come close to getting 100% of the collectibles, but I really enjoyed my experience with TOTK. I love both for what they are. BOTW to me was a very peaceful and moving experience once I got into it. I hated it at first and hate played through some of the main story then I said fuck it I’ll just get all of the towers and open up the whole map. In doing that I kind of fell in love with the game. The different areas, the scenery, the freedom, the music, it was a great game.
TOTK didn’t have that same emotion from the ambience, but I enjoyed the story and crafting. It did feel like it was missing the uniqueness that I loved in BOTW, but overall it was a good experience. I’d love a similar style game, but in a new version of Hyrule.
Piracy is definitely possible. You just have to find an early switch model, unless you’re good with a soldering iron. I’ve had 2 modded switches for years and there is homebrew that helps you back up your saves. https://www.reddit.com/r/NxSwitchModding/comments/1cpo4r1/how_to_back_up_restore_or_transfer_your_nintendo/
You can never be too careful. I’ve lost decades worth of crap I’ve collected when drives go bad.
This is what I’ve been doing for every game since I had a New Vegas save get corrupted and I had to almost completely start over. I go overboard and make like 5-10 saves now at various points in a game.
That’s not entirely true. I’ve worked many intense labor positions. I excelled in them and loved getting paid to exercise. The pay was shit and the hours were completely unreliable. I tried really hard to get another similar job with a more successful company and got basically nowhere. I now make way more than I ever have now that I work in the public sector in a DBA/development position.
I love the work and have always loved working with code, but honestly I’d prefer doing manual labor. I was in great shape, I could study audiobooks all day, and I could be high all day. Manual labor work is fucking great! The problem was I had no paid holidays, no sick time, no benefits whatsoever, the hours weren’t guaranteed, and my coworkers and boss were extremely racist and often dropped the N word out of nowhere. I’m part Mexican and often reminded them of that fact, but I know they just saw me as "“One of the good ones”. Also they made the position a 1099 position even though I worked for one company and had 0 control over anything.
I’d still switch back to manual labor if I could make the same amount I do now with the same benefits.
I like to play games that let you customize your characters. I usually avoid all games that force me to play as anyone but myself in that universe. I think all games should let you choose who you want to be and who you want to be with if romance is an option.

Guitarfun@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is your absolute favourite track from a video game?4·1 month agoThat’s how I feel about the Lost Woods theme in BotW.
Guitarfun@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is your absolute favourite track from a video game?1·1 month agoThere’s so many good songs out there. I love the soundtrack for all the Kingdom hearts games, both games in the Chrono series, Minecraft, and Stardew Valley. My favorites would have to be the winter songs in Stardew.
Guitarfun@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is your absolute favourite track from a video game?4·1 month agoThat’s one of my favorites! Also Aquatic Ambience from DKC. I used to pause the game on that level and just listen to the track.
Guitarfun@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Which games made you go into an "addiction phase"?2·1 month agoI know! I got the fires ending first and it was so epic. The last boss felt like a soulsbourne boss fight. After that I was hooked. I immediately jumped into NG+ and now I’m working in NG++. I only got the game a month and a half ago lol.
Guitarfun@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Which games made you go into an "addiction phase"?4·2 months agoAll FromSoftware games including most recently AC6. Also Stardew. I’ve beaten Stardew probably more than any other game and there’s a ton of mods that expand the experience.
He wasted such an epic guitar build with basic strat style neck.
Crack the egg was the best! It sounds like you and I had very similar upbringings. Hopefully your uncles didn’t try double bouncing you from a tall balcony as well 😄
That’s true, I thought the same thing after posting. I still think you get both better results and a better experience if the third person is sitting. You’re definitely right about the timing though. To maximize results you have to very slightly stagger the landing. That’s really something kids learn fairly quickly after some trial and error.
Lol it’s gravity and physics. Double bounced means two people jumped and tried to land as close to the same time as possible to cause the trampoline to sink lower than it would if one person were jumping. The person getting double bounced sits on the trampoline waiting to be bounced.

How much more wealthy are they than the average person in their country. You can’t just focus on wealth in terms of US dollars because there are parasites in each country with varying degrees of wealth in comparison to the average American billionaire.
They could be laying down lol
