If police came armed in my house, I certainly wouldn’t point anything at them. Yes, I’d fully expect to be gunned down if someone is pointing a gun at me and I pulled something on them. Just look at all the police cam videos where people get gunned down for simplest of things. Sure police is not in the right, no one argued they were, but it’s a stupid thing to point anything at armed people who are afraid of dying.

And no, there was no “whole country was their home”. They had no country. They rejected that solution.

That’s the whole point. I simply can’t accept this claim civilians are so stupid that they keep coming back for aid and keep getting killed. It’s disgusting to insinuate this kind of thing. And while I do agree civilian deaths are never fair game, I can’t but wonder how many of those 25k died because they were not allowed to move or migrate. Kind of how Hamas shot at people using humanitarian corridor to move away from north. Or how they shot at people trying to leave hospitals and other buildings.

I am finding it disgusting that people are sitting and pointing fingers at Israel and others. You know what would have prevented 100% of those 25k victims, not attacking on october 7th. Or any previous occasion.

Regardless, it’s a stupid thing to do. Am sorry for the loss of life, but I didn’t expect anything else to happen. Go during any protest and do the same, in any country. And see how the police reacts. You’ll be the first target for water cannon or batons. Idea of having potentially hazardous thing pointed at you makes them a priority target. Simple as that.

Hamas has been leading media war forever. Which is the reason why they don’t care if civilians die because that makes Israel look bad. They said this themselves number of times. We’ve had the whole fiasco with bomb on parking lot where Hamas immediately blamed Israel and gave stupid number of casualties and it took months for independent review on the matter to prove it wrong. By that time everyone jumped on the wagon about Israel bombing hospital.

There are more than one example of this sickening behavior from Hamas. They are the torturers, slaughterers and rapists. And yet majority of people here refuses to believe they might be the one causing issues like these to make Israel look bad. It is actually unbelievable to me that you’d rather believe this is a trap set by Israel with aid where the moment people approach they start shooting, and people of Gaza keep coming back. Stretching your beliefs so hard to blame one party that it borders insanity.

Burden of proof is on the one making claims. Show a video of Israelis shooting on civilians. Everyone has a phone these days and yet not a single photo. Not a single video. We have videos where Hamas is beating civilians and chasing them away from aid. We sure have that, but then people come and say “ah that’s photoshop” that’s fake. There’s NOTHING here. And yet everyone claims it’s true.

You people really believe this is the case? They bring the aid, wait for people to come and then kill bunch of them. Then they repeat this process weekly. You seriously think this is what’s happening? So are inhabitants of Gaza stupid or have gold-fish memory? Naah, don’t think about it bro. Israel bad mkay.

Pretty much that. You are promised number of stock options at fixed price far before company goes public. If there’s ever an IPO, you can purchase your stock at that price and decide to do whatever you want to do with it. You can sell it and get money, or you can keep it and get income.

It’s what Musk did with PayPal. He never worked at PayPay, he never was part of PayPal, but the company that later came up with PayPal once merged with company Musk was part of and he got options. He was fired really fast from that company, but they can’t take his options, which is how he got rich after PayPal sold to eBay for billions.

Ask them to work more hours with less pay and no accommodation or ability to own one. See if that helps.

Neither are these laws voted by EU, rather EC and are applied to all the EEA and even countries currently in the process of accession as they are required by the agreement to keep aligning their laws with EU ones until they reach membership.

Lately I’ve been running more and more into situations where am so thankful GDPR is a thing. Law is pretty good on its own but with EU being extremely willing to use it makes it all that much more powerful. They don’t shy away from punishing the biggest and the richest and fines from GDPR violation hit percentages of income which makes it such that it can hurt everyone.

Imagine a system where for each bottle produced but not recycled, plant has to pay 1000$ fine. And just let them recycle any bottle to get rid of the fine. Companies would cut each other’s throats to recycle as much as possible. I could imagine big shots investing huge amounts of money into recycling so they can hurt other manufacturers. Many would switch to glass to become untouchable, but that would only mean those who still use plastic would have to try even harder to offset their production. Am assuming problem would be solved within a year.

Funnily enough that directive talks about sustainability, reduction of single use plastics and whatnot. And connected bottle cap is there as a stop gap measure to prevent ocean pollution. But manufacturers stuck to that as be all end all solution. The rest of the directive be damned.
