Was gifted an iPhone 13, been a lifelong android user. Hate to admit how much I love my iPhone. Hate not having my 512gb microSD card full of music but the multi day battery life makes up for it.

I was able to adapt my ups to use lithium ion batteries. I bought 2 giant ones that are used for rv solar systems. I tried using the other batteries and even when sitting by idle they loose their effectiveness.

That’s not a server that’s a gaming pc. Seriously what do you want to run? I use a raspberry pi for a server and it works just fine.

Htpc for YouTube and gaming and native tv app plex streaming content from my plex/nas media server (pi4). Works great. Power is crazy high in California right now at over 49c /kwh so I need to boot up the htpc as little as possible.

Before getting all crazy and changing the setup why don’t you try Wi-Fi. Yes Wi-Fi. Your cable might only be 100mbit and your WiFi may be faster.

Wi-Fi 5 can theoretically transmit data at speeds of up to 3.5 Gbps. And obviously WiFi 6 and 7 are even faster.

For your use case I would use ai to:

Summarize meetings creating built points.

Analyze client list habits and “predict” what services potential future clients will need.

Help with designing the website maybe incorporating new tools or features.

Help draft advertisements or maybe write a script for a potential television or radio commercial.

Use it to brainstorm thoughts and ideas to take the business to the next level.

I (American) spent about a month in the Philippines and traveled around a bunch by scooter on the main island. I don’t recall having to use something special to recharge my phone or my battery bank.

It’s an amazing country with amazing people. You are in for a treat. The language is kind of complex for me but luckily a lot speak really good English and I had no problems communicating. Finding vegetarian food was the most difficult part during my stay.

Probably Nintendo game cube. But from what I now a Wii U that’s modded can natively play Wii and GameCube games and emulate the earlier Nintendo games.

I like couch party games and between the Wii U and n64 there is no shortage of them.

Rocket league, random emulated games, and 50% through red dead redemption.

If your power is expensive then go with raspi/nas/mini pc/laptop route. My setup is raspi with 2 usb drives. Going on 5 years now with no problems. They only store media and I don’t care about backing them up.

Yeah it’s great the first time it works but then you have to spend 5 minutes looking for and assembling all the bits and pieces to set it up again.

Hi I’m new here. My friend has been trying to get me in for ages. The reason I am here is because my Reddit account of 10 years and one of 3 years got permabanned. And it was really for no reason. I tried to make a new account and that also got instantly permabanned. That’s when I found out that my 10year account also got banned. So yeah fuck what happened on Reddit.

I’m really liking lemmy and my iOS app (mlem) and enjoying the community. The only thing I miss from Reddit is the video integration.

I have this currently. Been running steady for 5 years now. I have 2 5tb portable hdds as my storage (usb3) and all the arrs, plex media server and qbittorrent with the vpn and a kill switch so if the vpn goes down the torrents aren’t running. Everything just works as long as nothing needs transcoded. My main tv is Roku and seems to handle all the file formats so it been working fine for me. YMMV.

Currently I am trying to learn docker and containerize all the different apps to make redeployment simpler.
