Hey.
I’m Dan. A 36 year old father of two who doesn’t have nearly as much time as he needs to do half the things he wishes he had the time to do.
Can’t wait for the ITV dramatisation of this. Michael Sheen absolutely blowing us away with his portrayal of some farting northerner. Sign me up.
They’re slower for sure, but they’ve got some great moments and some of the most memorable moments from the trilogy imo.
Po-ta-toes, the two-way conversation with Gollum and the Samwise speech about hope, which remains my favourite scene in the entire trilogy. Plus we get to meet ma boi Faramir, who’s wearing a hood no less.
Is this the most Guardian?
I’m a bit confused by the map because in the UK our officers usually carry a baton, spray or in some cases a tazer. They’re absolutely not unarmed.
Most don’t carry a gun, but I’d also imagine the vast majority of the time they’re not dealing with criminals with guns.
…is this legit? I was on board until I saw ‘Has a badass name’.
No one has any idea what they’re doing.
I’m 35. I’ve got two kids. I make it up as I go along. There’s no plan, no blueprint. There’s just the day to day crap that life has for us all. I wake up, I go to work and my only real aim is to get home to my kids and partner.
I’ve got to be honest, I thought the Dead Space remake was a significantly more impressive return than the RE4 one.
With regards to Mastodon, there’s no algorithm. So you’ll need to be using the hashtag search function to really find the sort of people you’re interested in communicating with.
In the year since I got my Steamdeck it’s become favourite way to play games. The only thing I really have an issue with…is the screen, and this looks to have addressed that issue.
Going to be real hard for me not to splurge on this.
Serious question. How do you decide if something is garbage or not, like what’s the criteria?
The thing I’m giving to this post instead of giving to the growing pile of laundry I need to do.
So I finished Super Mario Wonder and it’s as good as you’ve heard it to be.
And I just started playing Cult of the Lamb. Really digging that so far, although I can already feel the anxiety that usually comes along with the base management aspects of these games; so much to do, no idea what to prioritise.
Working okay coming from Feddit.uk
Well firstly, any new staff inevitably ask the ‘do we work an hour more/less’ depending on the circumstance.
Aside from that, not much else changes. One Sunday morning I’d finish at 6 and then six months later I’d have a Sunday where I finished at 8.
Fortunately I never worked Sunday nights, so I never felt like I was losing much after work time.
Thanks for the heads-up. It would appear I was wrong.
I think that technically we have two ‘moons’ already. Just that the other one is super small and doesn’t really have much effect on the planet.
Sorry that this didn’t answer your question, and feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
How do you take a game that’s already incredibly self-serious and make it even more so without it becoming a cliché of itself?
This sort of thing is very personal. IIRC 2018 was the last time we had one of these years and I was really meh on the entire year. Not bad, but it certainly didn’t thrill me.
'23 has been wild though, so many games have hit with me.
I think there’s a big difference between a mental institution and a therapist. Almost apples and oranges.
Thank you.
I think I saw a show 20 or so years ago that tried to debunk this and obviously either they messed up, or I wasn’t paying attention.
(The show was called Brainiac).
