I bet a lot of people peddling homeopathy just think it’s herbs and water, and don’t know the initial theories behind it like “the law of similars” (thinking something can be treated by a substance that causes similar symptoms) and miasma (outdated idea on how diseases spread), or the fact that it’s often so diluted to the point where whatever was originally there is essentially gone.

At least some natural/traditional remedies are legit, but still see an actual fucking doctor over anything serious.

What are the terms that say that? I just want to be sure because every few years I see uproar over misinterpretations of some social site’s terms of service saying “we have the right to modify and redistribute your work”, when all it means is that they can host and make slight modifications to the files you post.

Because this is somehow more convenient for everyone than building high speed railways?

There’s sheezy.art and inkblot.art which are the ones I use, and Cara.app which I’m not familiar with but seems more professional (like artstation) than the former two. None of these are FOSS though.

Also bears generally mind their own business as long as you keep your distance, with statistically less than one person per year dying from a bear attack in America. The last time it happened in my state was several years ago and due to some dumbass intentionally trying to get close to it.

-Transferring to clean energy and clean industrial processes whenever applicable

-More widespread ethical and sustainable farming practices

-Lab grown organs and/or more efficient artificial body parts

-Better treatments and potentially cures for chronic and/or rare diseases

-Much longer lifespans I just think we don’t live long enough even with the current best case scenerios lol

Keep it that way. It was painful to sit through, and it takes a lot for me to actively dislike a piece of media. Even when it’s things that are widely considered to be bad I tend to just feel indifference.

Could depend on the fish species in question? Lionfish for example is extremely invasive in the Southern USA, so environmental agencies have been encouraging people to eat them to curb their population, potentially making it a more ethical choice. I’ve been seeing it pop up more and more, but it doesn’t seem to have caught on too much.

But we should definetly limit our consumption though when it comes to more threatened/overfished species. There’s also some unethical fishing practices out there such as removing sharks’ fins then stranding them, causing harm to cetaceans, and other environmentally destructive fishing techniques.

Dang maybe we should take a fraction of the trillions we spend on the military to fund scientific research, and also health and education while we’re at it so we’d get even more potential scientists.
