Not for much longer

I appreciate the honesty. Maybe tomorrow I’ll check out some stuff. But really I think his good stuff recently has been his Nirvana interviews, Soundgarden interviews, and the interview with the STP guitarist who I feel bad about not remembering his name right now. If you can stand listening to Billy Corgan that’s worth a listen too. Personally that’s a tough one to sit through though.

Older stuff, again just off the top of my tired head, I liked the video he did about voice modulation. He’s got a good one about how everything is recorded into perfect time signatures using software.

Edit. He was a producer. So a lot of the topics about the technical side of music is pretty good. He just tends to blow up his own head though, that’s all.

I ain’t watching a bunch of his videos when I decided a year ago it wasn’t worth it, just to link them to you.

I stopped watching a little while after his website debut. I didn’t make a list, sorry.

I used to like Beatos videos. But honestly if anyone knows about enshittification it’s him. He has done some killer interviews the past year, no one can that away from him. But my God his other stuff has just gone down a cliff. I think it was the debut of his website that made him greedy.

I finally saw one in real life. On the highway. It’s shocking how aggressively dumb they look in person. Photos don’t do it justice. It seriously looks like a giant unrendered N64… thing.

Considering I have no problem seeing gifs from anyone else, and my question has been up voted by other people, it’s more than likely to be an issue with fedia.io and not lemm.ee (which is hosted by one of the Lemmy devs)

There technically has always been natural plastic. Polymers. Rubber is an obvious one. But chitin, DNA, silk, sulfer can become plastic, etc are all polymers.

“Achully-ness” aside. It would be wild to find a plastic based insect. It would probably finally unite all of humanity against a singular cause. I doubt we have enough bombs though.

Howard has been a gold mine for Bethesda. Him, Pete Hines (the PR guy), and Emil (the only writer they employ) are the three amigos. Their games are cheap, modders will fix everything for them, and they’ve held strong to their money at any cost don’t call it mtx ideals that rake in the loot.

Notice how they only have two IPs. Elder Scrolls and Fallout. They’ve been coasting on lore that was created before Oblivion and Fallout 3 for decades. That’s why Starfield fails so hard, they had to actually come up with new ideas for once.

Plus they also know how to throw banging release parties complete with private concerts. You didn’t get rid of that guy.

It looked worse than Redfall when that game was released. There was a leaker at that time that said Starfield was absolutely no where close to a game and they hadn’t even figured out how to make it fun at all when Redfall went out.
