I do have many movies specifically, from the top of my head: the Poor Things, Brokeback Mountain, Breaking the Waves, the 5th Element (where it’s just for fun and it’s ok), the English Patient.

Even cheating can have an impact (mostly negative) and in general, sex or even the absense thereof influences our life and therefore is worth depicting in a movie. Bad sex scenes are as awkward and boring as bad action scenes. Both can be done well and be plot relevant or artistic.
Shitting and peeing is not being cathegorized as a vice, unlike sex!
Yeah, but I think sex scenes don’t need any shock value or compete with porn. They can depict the many ways sex influences people irl.
Yes, but why? Sex is an important part of human life and relationships, it influences people’s behaviour and decisions, yet it’s being depicted less and less and often not in a satisfying way. So why doesn’t it get depicted in a meaningful and plot relevant way? A good recent example that it can be done is The Poor Things (sexuality is one of the main topics there and is depicted and talked about very openly).

I would like to point out that while the account is not marked as a bot, it IS marked as a Dot.
Exactly, that was my whole point - llms can be useful for making nice sentences out of data that you already know are right from your previous research and the whole result must be overviewed to make sure it makes sense. Using them like this can save you time or even help you out immensely if you happen to have no literary talent (believe me). It’s not ok to use it for the research itself, the results are not good and the kid learns nothing. And that’s why I think we need to teach kids how to use it appropriately. It’s just like using a calculator. You need to learn to count first, but then it can save you time.
These are all good measures, but I doubt they would be enough to stop the wildlife decimation.
:) Ok. But why not to teach children how to work with new technology correctly? It’s not as simple as AI bad.
I do think the method should be mentioned. Kids should be taught to cite what they used ai for and which one amd there should be precise rules stating which use cases are ok and which are not tolerated (some SHOULD be tolerated). Detention is too much though.
At first I thought the emojis were supposed to stand for “cat” “fr”
That’s a good approach. I tried to search for celebrations in 2024 to make it recent, because those things can change, but I didn’t get enough relevant pictures to decide (most celebrations with obvious women were indoors). There would surely be other ways to find out what is the current women rghts situation in Syria (and it could also differ regionally, I expect). I won’t be able to go down that rabbit hole today, though. If you happen to have more information, be sure to share, I’m genuinely interested.
I was talking about toxins in general in reaction to yout toxin comment. I think it’s logical to research the possibility of alcohol having some beneficial effects, the world is not black and white.
When it comes to studies of health risks/benefits of alcohol, they unfortunately seem to suffer from the same shortcomings as other health studies: lots of important factors are often ignored, like the type of alcoholic beverage consumed, lifestyle connected to the type or amount of alcohol, previous history of alcohol use… I can, of course, give you a link to a study that finds benefits to moderate alcohol use (although they are far from recomending it). Here’s one example from 2023
Personally, I think alcohol probably does more damage than benefit even in moderate dosing, but the truth is we still don’t really know and we need much more in-depth studies to find out.
There’s not a single woman if you take a look at the video and the photos in the article. The comment is based.
New ones are born every day, as the “women’s purpose” dictates. I wish it was a generation thing, but I’m afraid it’s ingrained on a deeper level.
I like it too. There’s no bad taste. There’s only my taste or taste of the group I belong to (often interpreted as good) and the taste of the others, different from mine (usually interpreted as bad).
Many toxins have medicinal uses.
0 More friend possibilities, but also much more bullying, because no teacher would be able to work reasonably with such a large collective. The teacher would be totally overpowered by the students, so the quality of the education would be minimal.
I’m afraid it’s not going to save anyone, because it’s going to be a collapse with many casualities mainly on the side of the poor, not a revolution. I imagine it as a social disaster. The rich will be ok.
