You’re an idiot. Criminals see patterns and take advantage. If i walk through the same streets and park every night and they see me every night they can easily predict my behaviour and take advantage. I have a decent paying job, plenty of money and a vagina. I am at risk. Grow the fuck up.
Bypass paywalls clean is the name, it doesnt work on everuthing but i have no problem with the nyt. There are a million firefox addons, i get mine from internet comments. I recommend ublacklist which lets you block websites from google search results, eg no more facebook, twitter, instagram.
Im a woman and i finish work at 230am. Im not going to expose myself to the risk of riding a bike home. If i worked day shift that would be ok but its just not safe for me to bike home at that hour.
It’s a 7 minute drive, i practically live in the same suburb. I also work evening shift. Are you going to put on a bus to everywhere for those 250 people who finish work at 230am? Must all of us work and live next door? I try to live as close as possible but you cant ask everyone to do that. A job change shouldnt mean you are required to move house. Its just not feasible for a city of millions to move every time they change jobs. And its not feasible to put on a bus service so me and a couple of others can get home at 230am.
I use firefox with adblock and some kind of paywall blocker. Never get ads and no problem reading nyt.
I don’t own or want a car. My housemate drives me to work. It’s a 7 minute drive, 50 minutes by public transport. You need to put on 10 minute buses on multiple routes through every suburb 24hrs to make public transport a viable option for most people.
I’m sorry you lost a friend, life is hard
It’s the best selling shooooow Is there life on Maaaarrraarss
I don’t know what cage free means but I do know it’s marketing speak designed to tempt me away from free range. Not buying it.
A financial asset is a series of cashflows. Your existence is a series of cashflows. Therefore, you are a financial asset. Advertisers, marketers, influencers, social media companies, big data, ai etc. are all in the business of predicting and directing those cashflows. It’s very simple, that’s where the money is. The monetization of everythimg is not a conspiracy theory, it’s how the economy works.
When i was a kid even poor people had a 3 bedroom house on a quarter acre block. I know someone who rents the balcony of a 2 bedroom flat and shares with 7 other people., all of them are migrants or international students. Oddly enough, i live in a house that was built in a backyard. A cheap, crappy new investment property made to capitalise on the housing crisis. We’ve had more than two dozen tradesmen visit in a couple of years so i wonder how that investment’s working out. This is not progress.
I wish… I have the opposite problem. I work with people from many different countries and my brain gets utterly scrambled by constantly switching between accents. Sometimes it gets so bad that I, an Australian, cannot understand a person from New Zealand. It all just registers as random noise. I’ve been in this job for 8 years and I really try but it doesn’t get any better and it’s quite embarrassing.
Ending bodily autonomy is pretty consequential.
This lady has the most incredible voice
Are black people all going to have labels so we know who to support and listen to? I think this is pretty weird tbh.
I tried to read The Wheel of Time and discovered that some people really think men and women are different species, incapable of communication or cooperation. These people believe that pretty much everything about a person is a result of their sex and are incapable of relating to a person without their stereotypic lenses. It explains the trans panic.
If enough people stopped buying crap that would be good start on abolishing capitalism. In order to change society you need people to take responsibility and change their habits. I find it very suspect tbat so many like you try so vehemently to discourage people from making any changes.
Accerlerationists want to burn it all
Plates, cups and bowls can be bought second hand at charity/opp/goodwill shops in my experience. They also often have small appliances, sometimes new as people donate unwanted gifts. Pie makers are very common. Noone should buy new pie makes.
