I like how the text weasels around having to mention the name of “The famous explorer and former director of the USGS”. The Egyptians are a nice touch too.
Most of them don’t write in English-language forms though. I guess the language barrier is why you see so little others.

It’s pretty scary that these people were in such leading positions, with the USAID person even promoting her moronic ideology even abroad.
That said, the part calling calling out “pro-choice” as a term feels semi-true to me. Of course, that language is as much appeasement as it is a specific framing. And “pro-life” as the opposite term is at least as dumb because quite often it will lead to mothers being physically and mentally hurt or even death of the mother. Also, I do love the irony of women trying to take rights away from themselves.

I think the word they’re looking for is “passage”, it’s called a “rite of passage”.
