I absolutely agree with you. My former flatmate didn’t like to use the dishwasher because according to her, it wouldn’t clean the dishes properly. Yet she would load the dishwasher by stacking the plates horizontally… as you would store them in a cupboard
“but I don’t have an accent” he said with a generalised American accent

Not a younger person, but last concert I attended, the artist was selling bandcamp codes for their albums (I got two for €5 each). On top of that CDs and vinyls, each would include a bandcamp code too, so I assume people without CD players or turntables can get the physical item and still enjoy the music digitally
the “new” episode was produced over a year ago and probably written way before that
The local burger joint down my street is chapter than McD. And there’s another premium place nearby that sells smash burgers for the same price as a big mac. Makes no sense for me to go McDonald’s anymore
everyday I’m thankful that Musk is not an US born citizen and cannot run for office. It’s the only thing stopping him
indeed, gaming is becoming more of an “older” people hobby mostly because kids nowadays get bombarded with micro transactions and pay to win mechanics that don’t really engage them as a target audience.
Once I attended a reto game convention and meet a kid who was like 14 or 15 who was really into retro games, mostly because those games didn’t nag them with live services and bullshit as such. It really shifted my perspective about modern AAA gaming.
PS: by retro he meant the PS2 era

message editing is an odd one, several times I’ve edited a message and not seen the change reflected on my other devices for hours at the time. Makes me wonder if my recipient get the updated message with a massive delay as well.
Teams also sets itself to autostart with Windows, even if you choose not to, or diabale it from the startup manager, it overrides it upon next launch.
It’s the only software I’ve ever seen doing that crime against humanity.
on top of that, you can charge as much as you want
there are quite a lot of interesting brutalist buildings in the Netherlands. Betonbuurt in Amsterdam and Apenrots in The Hague come to mind
I like it quite a lot actually, bit yeah I feel it for our fellow tradies
Indeed, my grandfather had a Jeep Willys and he never registered and only drove it on his farm. When he passed away, my dad inherited and looked into making it road legal (ie. registering it) and it was way too expensive to do, so he just kept it in his property and drives it around a back road which is technically private property, we checked with the local PD and it’s allowed
can confirm, when I used to work for a government contractor, everything was HP. From laptops to servers, from mice to printers.
please don’t tell me I been using them wrong
And the people who do usually go with nVidia anyway, AMD was always better in the bang-per-buck metric and they should focus on that.
