I haven’t used this in many years so I can’t vouch for the current state, but I’ve used synergy to share the same mouse and keyboard across multiple computers. I think this should enable your 4 monitor dream - 2 externals and two laptops.

You’ll also likely run into a situation where a single laptop can’t drive 4 monitors - keep that in mind.

EDIT: I don’t know why you’re targeting 3 laptops in the future, but I would heavily suggest looking at framework laptops. They’re upgradeable, modular laptops where you can buy new motherboards to upgrade. Once you do upgrade, you can actually use the old Mobo as a desktop machine.

How else do you get multi device sync?

My current solution is to use syncthing to handle syncing the files, but I have to debug a permissions error that pops up.

I think she had some art on the sides - you ever see those white vans/chucks/Nikes with stuff drawn on them? I forget what it was, but it looked nice and looked like a labor of love.

As a dude I still do throw out the compliment - I just make sure to say it as I leave so it’s clear there are no strings attached. “I really like what you did with your shoes - have a good one!”

As a guy I feel like I typically don’t get non-flirty compliments from gals, and I understand that it’s probably because there’s the worry of misunderstanding intent.

That said, one time a few years ago a gal mentioned she liked my boots as she walked past and I’m still riding that high, lol. If it helps make people happier I’m not going to shy away from complimenting them :)
