It goes to show that people are complex, and contain multitudes. Cherrypicking isn’t a bad thing. The older I get, the harder I find it to get along with strangers, because I’ll have some point of contention with them. :/

Linux has had a long history of worms and viruses, fortunately (sorta) thanks to its server legacy. Dumb and lazy server admins have given it pretty good ‘secure by default’ behaviours and cultures.
Desktop users though: whole different set of challenges.
Aluminum cans are great but still use a plastic lining, so I’m not sure overall whether it comes out better. You still get microplastics.

It’s good to get some sealed containers and immediately empty the bag into multiple smaller airtight ones. I think oxidation is the main problem. I surmise that you could purge the containers with dry ice or something before closing it, too.

Manual save made sense when a disk write froze the program for seconds and engaged the disk drive with sounds (which I miss a little; very reassuring) but today autosave ought to be fully expected. LibreOffice really should’ve had it on by default.
