At least 11 people, including children, have been killed in an Israeli attack on the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, it has been reported.

The Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that the strike hit a playground frequently visited by displaced children.

Most of those killed were children, the news agency reported with several people also wounded in the attack

One eyewitness described the situation as a “horrific scene of children torn apart”.

The latest data from Unicef said that one child in Gaza is killed or injured every 10 minutes and further said that at least 70 children are injured every day during the Israeli bombardment.

So attacking refugee camps doesn’t break international law? It doesn’t break our deals with them for malicious uses? What the fuck is happening. How can anyone with the power to change or influence this stay silent day after day? Hell exists and we are there.

The international law, sadly, only goes as far as the willingness of powerful countries to enforce it. See also: Russia holding a permanent seat on the UN security council

They are not refugee camps, it is just in their name from 70 years ago when they actually were such. Of course many fled to those towns now, doubling the population.

In any case, if they are targeting valid targets they do not break that law. Hamas hiding there would be the issue, causing others to be in danger. Of course that is exactly what they want and Israel then does exactly that… A massive shit show.
