I was never threatening or intimidating

Bet they spoke in that calm psycho Karen voice and made veiled threats. These people think that if you don’t shout and don’t make direct threats that you can say anything to a person.

Man if I went to the doctor’s office and started giving unsolicited fashion advice to fellow patients they would can my ass too.

Giving unsolicited medical advice to fellow patients is just asking for it.

absolutely wild that they closed the letter without so much as a best regards or even a yours faithfully

    I’d never recover from that.

It’s always intimidating talking to a clearly unhinged person. If they’re a stranger, you don’t know whether they will resort to violence if provoked. You only know they don’t observe regular social conventions.

That was actually a very good thing. Maybe it seemed a bit mean but it taught many vaccine hesitant people why they should get it. Not like obnoxious antivaxxers but just people being misled and not knowing what to do. Saved some lives.

I absolutely read it with that intent. Watching sovcits, homeschooled ‘grajiates’ and people rocking the Covid starter kit without a hint of irony was both enlightening and hilariously troubling.
