TIL In 2014 a Jamaican phone scammer threatened to kill a retired American man named William Webster when he wouldn’t fall for the scam. The scammer didn’t know Webster was the former director of both the FBI and CIA. He was arrested when he flew to NYC in 2017 and sentenced to 6 years in prison.
Both, the famous organization. I wonder why they’ve never made movies about Both agents
Better add /s to that ;)
Why do we need a movie when Archer and Lana make such good short form comedy?
Kinda sad that the scammer only got 6 years for that. (And only by picking the wrong victim)
Listening to the recordings of that scammer talk, some people really have no soul
My man is 100 right now. So the Jamaican dude was talking to 90 year old Webster.
The guy was director of the FBI and CIA and still had time to write a famous dictionary. A true American folk hero.
Later on, the World Wide Web was named after him too.
The dictionary was mostly his wife, Miriam.

I blocked him from my client to see how different the sub looks, and personally everyone else seem to be posting a lot more interesting things (to me at least).
Also I miss when people posted about things they themselves actually learned that day, sometimes leading to fun conversations in the comments, rather than just Googling for generic facts and copy/pasting them in.
He doesn’t just cut off the titles, he is also acting weird if someone makes fun about it. Has anyone really been far ev
