    I am seriously asking, was this what the reaction was like in Nazi Germany too? We are literally watching a systematic genocide and torture of an entire group of people and most of the world is doing nothing.

    I thought I heard somewhere that there was a similar parallel back then where as long as it occurred in their country that most everyone else ignored it. It was only when they attempted to expand that there was a larger war?

      I heard that too, but I’m no historian. What certainly is different now is having the internet; everyone who cares is staying informed and seeing what Israel is doing to Palestinians in almost real time. Not that we can do much about it, but we can write some letters to choice politicians, attend protests, etc…
