Sadly, statistics sort of tend to back up at least a few of those claims, even if it is a silly cartoon. Even if people do not like to admit it. Example, in 2018, 69% of black mothers are single mothers. But people never want to speak about reality because they have been told that speaking about reality is somehow racist, which is not. No problem ever gets fixed if people refuse to look at it, honestly.

“In 2011, 72% of black babies were born to unmarried mothers,[5][6] while the 2018 National Vital Statistics Report provides a figure of 69.4 percent for this condition.” The stats have not gotten better since then.

It would not just be the bridge cost, some Corps. could try suing for business income lost. Do not think they will get very far.

Like, most people still are not aware how this is going to fuck a bunch of market sectors that is theich bigger problem until the port is fully operational. Most (if not all) European car imports come into Baltimore. Cocoa comes there too. There are dozens of products. Ramifications are dire. On top of just to the local economy. Not to mention the pain of worst traffic.

Expect price increases on some specific markets. Surely someone with more time and better knowledge will do a much better write up soon enough. Either here or on the news.

Not getting one. And even if I did, would buy man-made. They are a fraction of the cost and no normie or person off the street can or will be able to tell the difference. And, you do not support the ridiculous players in the industry.

Got lucky that significant other could quite easily care less for diamonds.

Fun fact: Israel is the world’s Mecca for diamond Jewellers and must diamond cutting is done there or off there via business partnerships. It is not a stretch to say that if you want to support the Palestinian cause, then do not buy diamonds the usual way. Go figure how these things work.

  • I do not think they are anti-cyclists. Anyone have objective proof on this claim, thanks.

Edit: For the record. I think bikers are more anti-car or anti-car infrastructure or worry about safety. Which is a valid criticism. A biker vs a 3,000lbs piece of metal is obvious. Drivers do not care about bikers outside liability or annoyance.

I think that Americans corralate freedom of movement with cars so they do not want to give that. It is about nuance. But I have never read anti-bike rethoric anywhere from reasonable people, left or right.

Only over emotional or extremist people seem to be quoted as unfairly being the voice of everyone else. And I say that as someone who bikes 50km, for fun and who also likes to drive.

  • How did no one notice he taking like a shot about every 3-4 days on average? Does that even make any sense? The more you try to parse it. Like, no one in his family noticed? Nor his Doctor? Did he travel around the world or to different countrues to get all of them? Since most countries do not have them all.

Looked into the guy, there is official evidence for 134 of the vaccinations, which include eight different types of vaccines authorized for human use. The remaining are self-reported. But still, guess no one cares or bothers to notice if you are pushing product.

  • Best way, try to be as self-reliant, both as an individual and as a group/family/friends. So it helps to have the same mindset. Quality will always beat quantity in this regard. Not to mention will help make you more content. Ignore happiness, it is a short, fleeing feeling that marketers will exploit. Contentment lasts. Seek that. Worth noting my background was in Marketing before I walked away from it.

So, minimize consumerism, keep it reasonable, ethical and try to grow or make most or at least part of your food. The more the better. Learning how to cook well is a good start. Highly limit social media in general.

I stopped watching TV/cable over a decade ago. I am amused and minimally horrified at ads online and on TV these days. Social media is little different. I would rgue it us far more harmful to your psyche. Especially if you spend too much time on it or to younger minds.

Use uBlock on FF derivatives and you will never see ads. That alone is very worth it, specially over time.

Saving up can be done with things that have value, focus on real world assets. Never too early to start.
