I’m happy to see this, my wife and I were about to buy a smart TV. Now I’ll just get the dumb variant.

Another commenter already gave a great example, I grew up using a crt for gaming and I turn the filter on on a game by game basis. It really does improve the quality of some games. Other games do not rely on it as much.
Mostly game with detailed art look better with it.
According to a piece in the Harvard Business Review, the $1 trillion will come due between now and 2026.
So we just have to hold out for 2 more years it seems.
This is a pretty great point. I never looked at privacy through this window.
Looks like I’m going to migrate in been considering proton for some time now anyway.
It’s like Ron Swanson and the vegan bacon
It’s because AI needs a not a ram. I think Apple did not expect or plan for ai which shows in the fact that only the latest pro phone can have Apple intelligence. It’s because that phone has enough ram.
Now they will boost ram across the board because Apple intelligence will not run well without it.
Depending on pricing, I may actually buy a MacBook in 2025.
I’ve wanted one since the m1, but I’ve held out until 16gb was the starting amount of ram.
Anyone who has already purchased a Prloton, should be able to resell it. If they can’t, then I see a class action coming.
New sales could do this I guess, hopefully people will stop buying from crap companies
I recently read that a baby crib did the same thing they charge an activation fee after it’s sold. First we had subscriptions now we have reselling activation fees. It’s just another way to get a little bit more money.
Additionally, based on the way Apple implemented it, the dev would have to resign in Europe.
Maybe that has changed as they keep making changes. Either way they are being huge dicks and have turned me off from their platforms and services.
Not in the EU.
If you average 60 miles per hour, then 1000 miles would take you 16 hours. There is not way you are regularly doing that. It’s not taking into account gassing up, breaks to get food.
They sold fairy high end processors. They took like 3 months to fix the issue. Processors that were damaged will remain damaged. I think Intel will replace them though.
There is a text book that I want to teach to students, but I can’t just buy it off their website. It’s either out of stock and another one wants me to buy at least 5 copies.
They have a “contact representative” button, but they never get back to me or take really long to do so.
It’s significantly easier to just buy it from an online source that just reprints these books and sells them for half the price. Not that I would ever do that, but I’m just saying.
Sorry, only treadful has been approved to revel this November.
I think I saw someone explain that there was a law that reserved some government jobs to the dependents of people who fought in some battle in the past. They paused the law but want to reimplement it so the students are protesting.
What the fuck is Starbound?
I just looked at it and it looks amazing!!
They now have an official mastodon account. That’s pretty cool.
Good, this is an S+ tier game. I’m not saying it’s for everyone, but if you look at the game and what it offers. I think you can objectively agree that it is a masterpiece of a game.
I think about this sometimes. What stuff can’t you do in a Linux GUI that an average person would be able to do in Windows? For the sake the simplicity, lets limit the GUI to Cinnamon, Plasma, or Gnome.
Obviously, there are obscure GUIs out there, but in the main ones, I think just about everything can be done without CLI.
Luckily they exist in smaller sizes still. I’m just getting a small tv for occasional use.
