Drain cleaners work from long exposure on a blockage. You wouldn’t want to handle a chemical that could dissolve all that hair and bio buildup by pouring it through a slow drain because if it splashed on your skin it’d burn through your skin in the same time.

Manual removal is always best. If you want to be proactive, get a long test-tube brush and put it down the drain periodically so you don’t have to disassemble the drain.

It’s disgusting, but it’s satisfying to take it apart and give it the old toothbrush like you suggested from time to time.

Fun fact! My coworker pays more in rent for his apartment than I do on the mortgage of my house. Most often this is true.

I don’t think anyone wants to make a brand new condo and try to full it full of fresh immigrants that other businesses are exploiting to pay less.

They want to develop 1 set of condos they can sell for $300k+ rather than 3 sets for $100k

It might not help you, but it helped me to recognize when laying in bed trying to “sleep in” wasn’t going to happen. If I’m not asleep again in 5 minutes and it’s past a certain time (6:30 for me), fuck it. My body just aches if I lay in bed awake trying to sleep. I get up and enjoy the quiet morning.

They’re also the people that think minimum wage is enough, working a minimum wage job is easy (so much easier than their job), and, have and would never work a minimum wage job in their life.

I absolutely don’t like working. But I like things. My basic needs are insufficient for me to be comfortable and happy.

I would choose to work so I could go to the movies, buy video games, eat and drink decadent things, pursue hobbies, travel, etc.

Enough food, enough shelter, enough mobility, and enough telecommunication ironically isn’t enough for me.

I’ve been fortunate to never have been only scraping by. I don’t believe many people would choose it and it absolutely baffles me that so many people believe that so many people would.
