30 years of using Linux and I think this chart is whack. RPM based distros run by enterpises are the worst. I was happier with Slackware than Fedora. 🤣 I only use those when work forces me too and after the CentOS and SLES fiascos - F that noise. I’ll only recommend debian for work servers unless there are STIG/FedRAMP security requirements and then it’s begrudgingly over to Ubuntu.
When work isn’t in the way: EndeavourOS on my desktop, Debian on my servers, and debian/alpine for my containers or better yet; golang and scratch.
My guess is there may also be an H, for Light, Regular and Heavy flow. Besides size its what they are usually designed for.
Oh so its the unfurl description. Interesting, but maybe a little obtuse for most users to find.
Also doesnt show up on mine in the menu or on the share screen. Just when it unfurls in a chat.
But I use Fennec and /e/OS so likely a user experience difference.
I did though. I do not see said text.
FWIW I checked the comic at SBMC and Im not sure what extra text they are talking about unless the author shared said extra text on a social network, but I don’t see anything you missed from your source.

Routhinator@startrek.websiteto Technology@lemmy.world•Big Surprise—Nobody Wants 8K TVsEnglish4·8 days agoI like 4k for documentaries and cinematic shows, but Ill never watch something like TNG or Jessica Jones on 4k again. Takes all the magic away, feels like you’re standing next to the camera guy - suddenly I just see an actor in room and the immersion is broken.

This. Its a bit slow but the auto import is a life save and the app is really nice with the ability to easily scale the portions or keep the screen awake.

Then again, I am mostly Scottish Canadian, and 1/4 Irish.

Routhinator@startrek.websiteto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How easy/hard was it to for y'all to learn your multiplication tables? What grade did start learning and when did you know it all? (up to 12x12 I mean)English4·21 days agoI grew up in Quebec until I was 7, and then moved to Ontario half way through the school year for Grade 2.
In Wakefield we were just starting to learn the times tables. In Ottawa, they were finished with them and were just about done division. I never really got to learn either before learning fractions.
As a result, while i can do quadratic equations and fractions in my head, I often struggle to reason out multiplication or division.
And back then if we did have a mouse, it was square, and used a 9pin serial port

Such painfully obvious AI. Hot water lines from your municipality… yikes. The amount of heat and energy loss for piping hot water, not to mention the excess heat abnormally warming soil temps… wtf.
Yeah, endeavouros repos just include their installers and setup tools. The OS uses arch repos.
