Not many people know this but Ganon saved my life. This was back in the early 2010s. I was strolling around my neighborhood and I was attacked by a Russian gangster, a feral plumber and 2 to 3 high strung nuns. Just when I thought it was over Ganon comes sprinting over out of no where, he claws one of the nuns right across the eye and fully exposed the plumbers crack(thus depleting his plumber powers). As a younger millennial it surprises me how little others seem to get the generation divide here. Personal computers and keyboards were very common for millennials to grow up with in the house, but I think more and more people these days don’t use desktops or laptops that often most people stick with tablets and smartphones. Gen z probably doesn’t have the same keyboard skills as millennials because of that, but on average they are definitely better with tech than we are. Their typing skills are just on phone keyboards lol. Just my 2 cents

I use temu too. I see literally the same products on Amazon and temu regularly. Temu is much cheaper but obviously shipping is longer. But yeah there is alot of overlap. I think it’s too important to remember a lot of the stuff they get sold on Amazon is from small third party sellers who buy cheap goods from China from places like timu or Alibaba or wherever and then warehouse and resell them on Amazon for a huge markup.

On the one hand I’ve been thinking about leaving the country. I really don’t think Canada is a safe move. Especially because it’s the first thought for so many left wing Americans and it’s so close. I also don’t think it’s inconceivable that a more dictitorual Trump ends up invading Canada…I’ve been thinking about trying to live in Vietnam myself… I figure if they can keep the USA out then international politics isn’t something id have to worry about to much there. They’re actual leftists and the money I have here should stretch even farther there to help the transition. I’ve also tried to talk a few friends into coming along with me if it goes bad we’ll see how that works I’m going to try to get 15ish friends to agree hopefully at least a few will follow through.

The other side of my mind thinks that’s extreme and doesn’t want to leave. That side does think that getting some rice and beans one of those giant rechargeable batteries with solar panels is a good idea though.

I don’t know if you’ve been to America or met most Americans, but most of us are really struggling. There’s a housing crisis. Most people can’t afford to live on their own. There’s a ton of food insecurity. Education is abysmal. I mean the whole thing’s just fucked. This pretending things are really good right now and gaslighting Americans and trying to shame them into voting for Biden is part of the problem by the way.

This whole crushing it narrative… Are we going to pretend like all working Americans aren’t struggling?
