Sometimes yes, and I tend to get deja vu very often, occasionally its even recursive where I’m having deja vu of having deja vu.

I only use it in English but I’ve found the results to be equal to or better than Google most of the time. I rarely end up checking things in Google after comparing the results for the first few weeks I first started using Kagi, the times I have recently Google has been just as bad (e.g. no results found, or nothing useful) or worse (e.g. a bunch of SEO crap and advertising and whatever other nonsense Google decides to spit up).
My understanding is that the up or down rating pushes results from that domain up or down in your personalized search results for all searches, not just the current search. I flag down things occasionally because they are obvious shit or don’t interest me but haven’t used the feature much otherwise. I think it could be one of the reasons I find Kagi better than Google though, there’s so much crap that just doesn’t end up in my results now because I down ranked already. I’m not completely certain that is really how the feature works though, I’d encourage you to contact Kagi support for a definitive answer.
People have been trying to make modular housing work for awhile, with limited success. For various reasons, it’s a lot more challenging than it seems like it should be. One of the problems is that the US doesn’t really have a single national regulatory regime for building codes, they are mostly local and regional. You can’t really design a house that works everywhere so the economics are a lot different than selling something like a car or a washing machine.
Yes, if friends. Unless they are repeating themselves, I’m going to be interested at least a little. Coworkers, no. I’ll be polite and sympathetic but if it is not related to work I am unlikely to be interested and will try to bring the conversation back to work topics or end the conversation as soon as I can without being rude. Randos, maybe but probably not. I’ve met lots of interesting people and am always kind of interested in hearing about the human experience from anyone who want to share theirs, but really I think I got too old or jaded for that. I avoid interacting with random strangers if its a choice now, and am always at least a little skeptical of whatever bullshit someone I don’t know has to say to me. I try not to be rude expressing my disinterest but I will be if it feels appropriate or necessary.
Song title, probably not. Names covered by a trademark or existing copyright or with an obvious connection to existing IP, probably yes. Especially if you’re making money with it or doing something that can be construed as competition with the trademark or copyright holder. The specifics will depend on the details but its usually not a good idea, or if you do it then be prepared to cease and desist because you will likely get a letter in the mail telling you you’re getting sued if you don’t. If its obvious parody or satire that changes things a bit, or adds further complications and a potential defense you can use if sued.
I love mine but the cats often like jumping out so litter gets kicked out occasionally. Other than that, and that it stops working during power outages, it’s great. Changing a bag is so much easier to deal with than scooping litter.
Stand mixer. It’s so much easier to mix things now and I make less of a mess.
Almost certainly it was explosives. Mossad very likely designed a functioning pager that contains explosives but looks identical to the original pagers and this is effectively a supply chain attack.
They’ve done a similar thing at a smaller scale with individual phones in the past. What is different is this time it’s not targeted at a specific person and instead involves thousands of devices going off simultaneously. It’s not a big risk unless you have nation state level threats up against you because it’s hard to pull off, they have to get a functioning device with explosives in it into the hands of the target and the effort involved in doing that is significant.
I have military helicopters that occasionally fly low over my area at night and its always a moment of “shit what’s happening” because they are so loud and obnoxious. Fortunately it happens less than once a month.
I’ve been using it for a number of months now and have been really happy with it. I think it saves me time and aggravation compared to using Google.
I would let bygones be bygones and accept that you are dead to him. If he serves his time and actually sorts out his bullshit then reconsider at that point.

The hype is still percolating, at least among the people I work with and at the companies of people I know. Microsoft pushing Copilot everywhere makes it inescapable to some extent in many environments, there’s people out there who have somehow only vaguely heard of ChatGPT and are now encountering LLMs for the first time at work and starting the hype cycle fresh.
Kind of the opposite of a lynch mob since they were trying to free the 9 IDF soldiers arrested for raping and torturing prisoners instead of attempting to punish them. I would call this more an attempted prison break, or possibly even a sort of coup against the rule of law by elements of the Israeli government, if its true those ministers were involved.
I’ve always done any square that includes any part of the thing, so the tire on the bus or the helmet of the motorcycle rider. That no longer works for me though, recently I keep getting more images and they seemingly never stop so I just give up on whatever I was trying to load. Its pretty ridiculous how shit the internet has become.
It’s a lot more complicated than that. Even if we accept a simplified model where “more oil = more agriculture”, the US has seen massive growth in oil production over the past decade so it contradicts the claim that there’s food shortages because of oil production. If there are food shortages happening right now it’s not at all related to oil production in the US.
I get cold easier and my clothes keep getting looser but that’s about it. I don’t count calories so I’m not sure when exactly I’m running a deficit or for how long but I have been steadily losing weight. I was a few pounds into the overweight range when I decided to start losing weight, now I’m down at least 14% from my peak and basically right in the middle of the healthy weight range for my height. About a year ago I started eating less, and started only eating until I didn’t feel hungry, and significantly reduced my alcohol intake. Its about the laziest diet possible because I still eat whatever whenever and still drink regularly but the net result is I’m running a calorie deficit often enough to lose a fair amount of weight. It doesn’t really feel like anything, or it feels about the same as running a calorie surplus. I imagine if I was running a larger or more sustained deficit it might be unpleasant and feel like starving but a minor irregular deficit isn’t something I really notice.
