I love mine. Which BEV lets me have seamless phone key and instant bootup, letting me walk up and get into the car and drive away immediately? I also have my heat/cooling and heated seats on auto and love not having to fiddle with knobs. If another car maker can catch up to them I’d switch but I don’t see it happening soon.

My hood isn’t perfectly flush with the front on one half of the front though, and the FM radio reception is pretty bad, so I do have some complaints.

As a 34 year old, my wider circle already killed Instagram. They post memes, news videos, and in some stories - a picture with million words on them. There already is a social media platform for this. Know what? FACEBOOK. If you’re going to use Instagram like Facebook, just use Facebook. I wish Instagram would go back to being used for just photo/short video updates and that’s it.

Took a nice photo of your pet? Instagram. Recorded a clip on your XSX/PS5 and want to share? Facebook. Made a short video montage of clips of your recent road trip? Instagram. Took a video of your cousin’s graduation? The video is 5+ minutes so Facebook.

I miss the intent of Instagram. There is a mood I’m in to want to see a ton of crap, and when I’m in that mood, I’d use Facebook to dig through all the updates. I liked Instagram for its simplicity. Been using Instagram since I first got my iPod Touch 4, and many of my friends in college used it as I wrote above. The same people no longer do it.

don’t have battery life

I have a Fold 5 with a snapdragon 8gen2. I have “light performance mode” on at all times, and deep sleep most apps that I rarely use, and get 8 hours SOT. The 8g2 phones are definitely worth getting for battery life

I got the fold 5. Two weeks ago it dropped out of my pocket (folded) as I got off a regular bus and dropped 3 feet right onto road asphalt. I had a tempered glass screen protector on both the front and back, and have absolutely zero damage other than 2 tiny dings on the aluminum frame, and had to replace the front screen protector as that one was cracked badly. The front screen had no damage after peeling off the screen protector, and the inner screen has no damage whatsoever. Cameras are also undamaged and the phone seems to have no internal damage. I personally vouch for the durability of the Fold 5 :)

I’d be really curious to know what happens to you between your early 20s and your late 30s

As some people said in this thread, it’s hard to get a job that pays well out of college. You’re supposed to be using the help of living at home to work towards getting an actual career so that you can afford to move out by/around 30. If you are in a difficult financial situation in your 20s and you instead spend them spending your money freely and frivolously without bettering yourself, you’d be rightfully seen as “lazy”.

I graduated with a degree that didn’t work out in the path I originally saw for myself. I moved back in with my parents at age 22, and spent my 20s:

1. Working whatever desk job I could
2. Saving as much as possible
3. Teaching myself programming at night

I would not have had been able to do the 2nd and 3rd things unless I was living at home, because I’d be putting all my small pay towards rent and living expenses, and also probably be too tired to learn a new career as 1 entry level job is not enough and I’d probably be working more hours or a 2nd job to make ends meet. At the same time, if I was not doing those things while at home, I’m wasting an opportunity and my privileged position (not everyone can move back), and would see myself as lazy. In my 30s, I have an actual career and had put myself in a good financial situation thanks to that opportunity of being able to move back in.

Same for me (met in Aug 2020) but on Hinge, and we just got married.

I’ve never had any issues with the Tmobile prepaid plan in either NYC nor north NJ, although I’m not sure if the prepaid plans have the same lowered priority as Mint, for example.

Switch to their prepaid plans! My wife and I pay $15 each for 3.5GB each, and if one/both of you uses TikTok/Reels then the 6.5GB plan is $10 more. For us, can’t ever beat $30 and we get foreign SIMs when we travel.
