    Not at all. OP seems to mistake socialism and authoritarism.

    From the wikipedia page:

The UAE has been described as a “tribal autocracy” where the seven constituent monarchies are led by tribal rulers in an autocratic fashion.     I believe you’ll struggle to find actual socialist thinkers endorse this kind of government.
