Back in college there was a restaurant on campus that sold “chicken donuts”. it was a piece of breaded chicken in-between Krispy Kreme donuts with a slice of American cheese, and it was the most delicious thing I have ever eaten
I think the boondocks invented this
The Boondocks referenced it explicitly as something that already existed (claiming Luther Vandross liked it).
As an Atlantan, I’m fairly certain a burger with Krispy Kreme doughnuts for buns was known to be a thing before that episode aired.
Local pub served these as the “glazed and confused” burger. Sooooo delicious
And those are real 'mericun quarter pounders mind you. Not those puny imported quarter kilogramers!
But… A quarter of a kg is more than a quarter of a pound ^_^’

I don’t think he’d go for this. He likes simple burger fixings from foodnstuff
And bacon with eggs
I worked at the county fair one year and we sold crap like this. We were allowed to take home unsold food at the end of the day so I tried one and it sucked, best thing to do is to separate the burger from the doughnut and have one for dinner and the other for breakfast.
