You do have to use winter tires here in Germany when the conditions warrant it, they just aren’t studded.

I have a Nissan NV200, which has a similar design.
I use it whenever my bike isnt practical, like visiting my family which live kinda rural or transporting something big. I also built a platform for my matress, so I can also camp with it.
It doesnt take up more space than the average car, but it has a lot of storage space.
Here in Germany studded tires are outlawed almost everywhere and its a good thing.
Where I live we usually only have one or two weeks each year where we have any snow or ice on the road and it usually gets cleared very quickly.
The amount of noise and road damage created by studded tires would far outweigh their usefulness for those 1 or 2 days where the snow hasnt been cleared everywhere yet.
I might get some studded bike tires this winter (those are legal) as roads are sadly cleared much quicker than the sidewalks and sliding a little bit with a car is not as bad as falling over on a bike.
It also isnt as loud as studded car tires and doesnt damage the road as much as studded car tires.
As a European its just insane how wide these streets are.
Did they want to build a highway or a neigborhood street?
US street designers and their bosses seriously need to get this “wider=better” mentality out of their head. Its no wonder people are driving this fast when the streets are this wide, its because it feels slow.
Its also bad in other ways: wasted money, needlessly destroyed nature, increased urban heat island effect and increased flooding risk because its sealed.
It also breaks the flow of the video, which is why I have started skipping them. I noticed just how much nicer videos without any sponsorships are because you dont have to dedicate time to lead into and out of an ad and can continue the video without explaining everything twice.
I also dont see any value gained by me or the creator if I fully watch the 100th squarespace commercial, as I dont get to hear anything new.
But the most egregious videos are where they try to hide that they are transitioning into an ad, like by creating some minute long argument that leads from the topic to the sponsor. Which leads to me not only having wasted my time for the actual ad, but also the transition.
Thats insane, here in Germany voting is always on sunday and (at least in my state, we may have some small time variations in others) I can go vote from 8-18:00, or I could do a postal vote, although I never bothered to do that because its just easier to vote in person, the lines were never really long or even existant at all.
Right now I just have to walk 200m to the next primary school and vote there, its very easy and relaxed.
You can also run the Network Controller on any PC or even Home Assistant if you dont need to do any advanced traffic routing features.
The only disadvantage is that updates cannot be automatically applied while the network controller is off, the APs however do work fine without it, as long as they are configured once.
Happens all the time, nothing to be ashamed about.
Would be a little uncomfortable if something solid comes out though.
