What if permission is given? Asking for a friend
Of course, but if you put those few hundred into jail for the night to cool off, the paper will run that you are putting hundreds of Turks into jail, you racist.
Easier to just put in earplugs to ignore it, and pay for driving lessons so your wife can avoid the metro in the evening, but you ignore it for a decade, and now somehow nazis have the vote, and we are afraid of being caught in the crossfire as we already are, facing workplace discrimination and such.
I know it’s not an easy problem with a clear solution, but it’s a problem.
So here’s an immigrant perspective; as an Eastern European in Western Europe I see that the wealthy are using me as a cudgel to keep the locals down. I’m paying quite high rents in a market where a lot of the locals in different careers can’t, and there is a housing crisis. The place I’m renting could be where someone’s kid would move out to.
And it’s partly German neocolonialism that fucked up Eastern Europe, so thank Merkel I’m here, since it’s this or the VW factory.
That said, the people who kept the whole literal city awake honking their horns last midnight while waving Turkish flags, or the Moroccan teenagers accosting everyone near my place, including hurling abuse at my Asian or queer neighbours don’t scream peaceful coexistence.
Yeah, those factories have started to fire Hungarian workers as they started to unionize, and are now hiring seasonal staff from Southeast Asia.
There are outsourcing companies advertising people from the Philippines by saying they don’t know their rights and can be paid below minimum wage.
All the money from this is either going to German sharehoarders or Orbán’s overseas accounts from the taxes they pay.
On the one hand, they got the Marshall plan, on the other hand, I’m sure they got off light themselves.
Close by meaning in Eastern Europe btw.
German car maker lobby has been propping up Orbán since 2010.
Calling them the Waffen-IDF would imply that they are indeed fighting a war and not just kicking down and committing genocide. Allgemeine-IDF fits better.
It was outsourced to the guy who ran Nazi concentration camps to build ballistic missiles to bomb London with.
IIRC they plan to have ultra-ortho only battalions so they can keep doing their ultra-ortho shit while fighting.
There’s a huge industry of people making wordpress sites who shouldn’t.
And this is why I hate the state of the whole hacking scene and that now nation states are also carrying out en masse attacks. Everyone should be free to make a site on Wordpress or whatever. If they can’t, that’s how we get everyone on like 3 corporate platforms like Facebook.
I’d guess it’s not because of the inherent insecurity of WordPress, but the sheer size of the ecosystem and the fact that like 40% of the Internet is WordPress sites.
Ammunition for artillery that they don’t use by doctrine.
They have a ton of eg. plane ammo, but they don’t give planes to Ukraine.
Oh, they do, they already exempted themselves and the police.
About military logistics and trains, are you sure you’re right? We aren’t supplying Ukraine by trucks last time I’ve seen a shipment
Unions are more heavily regulated for one.
Say that again after you sit the same IT exams as I did.
It’s weird that this has to be explained to Americans - this is how much of Big Tech got to where they are, except they call it “disruption”.
BTW this shows perfectly that free markets are not a be-all-end-all thing. It’s a tool, and if it produces outcomes that you don’t like, you can adjust it for better outcomes. The hypocrisy here is not that they pretend to worship the market then cry foul when China enters it on their terms, but that they do adjust it for their benefit all the time, and only pretend to worship it when people ask for their fair share.
I also don’t get why people try to force rubber on my cuke
Cheap bait, nobody cares
The extreme right gained some seats, but they are very far from winning an election. They actually underperformed expectations and are actively losing ground eg. in France or the NL. Even Orbán’s regime seems to have found a challenger.
The fight is not over yet, but this election has been very far from a far right win.
