I wish I had had more time for the drawing today. Then I would have put more effort into it. We’re having visitors today, so it’s just a quick sketch. But we persevered! Thanks to everyone involved. That was a lot of fun!
This is exxellent! So simple and minimalist, but right to the point. I love it!
That’s interesting. I saw the film too, and the visitors do indeed look a bit like that. I was just thinking of jellyfish giving a lesson on where best to touch divers with their stinging cells 😆.

3·19 days agoYes, its the narrative “The Fox and the Crow” from Aesop.
Today I found drawing a bit more difficult. I wasn’t satisfied with how the raven turned out. Sometimes it’s better, sometimes worse 🤷♂️.
I really like the ink-washed flames. What paper do you use for this? I often find that the paper curls too much or small paper balls come loose. Good watercolor paper is too valuable for simple experiments in the long run.
Oh man, this comic actually leaves me a bit confused. Maybe Skeleton Jelly’s skeleton is looking for a new jelly cape here? 😉
Is that what you call it? Learned something new, thanks!
I was surprised by the effect of stepping out by myself. I wanted to play with the boundaries a bit, so I left it as it was.
Thank you! I appreciate it.
Ahh, Rube Goldberg. I actually didn’t know him until now. But yes, it could actually be such a machine.
Unfortunately, I later realized that the legs should have been positioned in exactly opposite directions, because a fencer usually lunges forward when throwing a thrust. So I included the baton. Oh well, accidents happen 😅
Yes, it’s supposed to be Darth Vader. I like the idea that even a villain has to do everyday things sometimes.🙂

2·22 days agoThank You! I really like the character of Batman. He’s the only superhero (or at least the most famous one) who doesn’t have superpowers. That’s what makes him so special to me. He becomes a superhero because he himself is broken and becomes a tragic figure, forever trapped in his role, unable to escape it, and ultimately becoming the victim of his own creation.
It had to be 😅
I had difficulties with the prompt itself. Yes, I would like to further develop the dynamics in my sketches. I try to use exaggerated perspectives every now and then.
I’ve been wanting to draw an antique diving suit for a while. The subject seemed to be a good fit. 😉.

2·22 days agoI started using these elements about a year ago. They really helped me become more confident with the basic shapes. 🙂 I keep coming back to this type of drawing.
Oh, I wasn’t aware of that when I drew the picture. That’s interesting.

Thanks, unfortunately the animal didn’t turn out quite right. It was supposed to be a meerkat. Oh well, in the end I improvised 😅
