I will attempt to enhance the unpopularity of your opinion, by saying that in addition, mods that dont actively contribute to the communities they moderate, are likely in it just for the power dynamic they hold. That applies to Lemmy as well.

Yeah, that’s why we added the optional guideline to tag opinions as generally unpopular or unpopular on Lemmy. Quite often, those are two very different things.
