    My native language (Türkish) does not have grammatical gender. Gender in grammar is just silly and useless.

      No. Language needs as many possible structures and rules as well as millions of exceptions and oddities so it is really hard to learn.

      That’s part of why I just use They in English for everyone. Less having to learn people’s whatever; I don’t care. You’re cis male he? Don’t care, you’re a they now. More room left in brain. We can fix this shit right now.

        We do have a distinction between singular ‘they’ and plural ‘they’. It’s helpful.

          I don’t have enough bandwidth to remember everyone’s names, let alone their pronouns. This is the compromise.
