    The original, for anyone who wants the wholesome:

    Nancy comic strip. Nancy goes into a bank advertising loans and asks the banker for a two dollar loan. When the banker asks for the loan is for, Nancy says that the circus is in town. The banker is surprised by this news and in the last panel both Nancy and the banker are eating ice cream at the circus together.

    People will dismiss any mention of Loss anymore, but think of how amazing it is that a comic from like 100 years ago is still finding relevance as it gets remixed and reappropriated into a meta “joke” that started as a gut punch one-off from a webcomic from 20 years ago, and it only gets more and more absurd. This might be art.

      FWIW the (not Loss) comic is from the age of Michael Jackson, not the roaring 20s.

    Edit: seems people are downvoting my comment. Small price to pay for doing the right thing: downvoting highly overdone memes.
