It’s just going to lead to a quiet job hiring boom they’ll try and hide over the next few years. AI can’t do shit. They’ll spend $10 trying to make it work and failing, for every $1 they would spend on a human. But modern day corporate culture is mental, so we must just watch another CEO who doesn’t know what he or she is doing make a bunch more demented decisions, and pocket several more millions. All for having a job with no consequences whatsoever.

And in the mean time, abject poverty for anyone not already in a secure position! I’m sure there won’t be any consequences to this action!

I’m an older millennial and the last time I had to job hunt was a fucking nightmare.

    Only going to get worse.

We really need to get better at voting. Not that it’ll stop AI, but our current voting habits are basically shooting us in the foot WHILE dealing with AI taking jobs. Not to mention deconstructing safety nets that will be even more important going forward.

Not that I think it will happen. We’re pretty dumb.
